Empire of Brazil Flag

Hi Jarekt! Could you move delete and redirect File:Bandeira do Império do Brasil com nó e cores corretos.svg to File:Bandeira Imperial oficial (com heráldica certa).svg (which i have requested to be moved to "File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg") Feitidede (talk) 21:55, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

Feitidede, sorry I was traveling last week and did not see your request. I would like to understand your request better. I see 2 similar svg files:

• File:Bandeira do Império do Brasil com nó e cores corretos.svg (eng. "Flag of the Empire of Brazil with correct knot and colors", last updated by you) is now called File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
• File:Bandeira Imperial oficial (com heráldica certa).svg (eng. "Official Imperial Flag (with correct heraldry)" maintained by User:Almanaque Lusofonista)

There is also few dozens of other variations in Category:Flags of the Empire of Brazil. I am a bit confused of what are the differences between them. It seems like number of stars, style and color of the knot, details of leaves berries and flowers. Maybe we need a gallery page comparing variants of the flag and matching SVG to JPG/PNG to historic depictions and photographs. Feitidede, Thank you for the gallery, it was quite helpful. I moved it to National flags of the Empire of Brazil so it can be helpful to others. So to be very clear, you are asking to:

• Rename File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg -> File:Flag of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
  • universally replace File:Bandeira Imperial oficial (com heráldica certa).svg with the renamed File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
  • universally replace File:Flag of Brazil (1870–1889).svg with the renamed File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
• Rename File:Bandeira do Brasil no padrão correto (1822 - 1853).svg -> File:Flag of Brazil (1822-1853).svg
  • universally replace File:Flag of Brazil (1822–1870).svg with the renamed File:Bandeira do Brasil no padrão correto (1822 - 1853).svg

I actually replaced the File:Flag of Brazil (1822–1870).svg with the new and better version of the flag, so yes:

• Rename File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg -> File:Flag of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
  • universally replace File:Bandeira Imperial oficial (com heráldica certa).svg with the renamed File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg
  • universally replace File:Flag of Brazil (1870–1889).svg with the renamed File:Flag of the Empire of Brazil (1853-1889).svg

But please:

• Rename File:Flag of Brazil (1822–1870).svg -> File:Flag of Brazil (1822-1853).svg
  • universally replace File:Bandeira do Brasil no padrão correto (1822 - 1853).svg with the renamed File:Flag of Brazil (1822–1870).svg.

• I think you still need to universally replace File:Flag of Brazil (1870–1889).svg with File:Flag of Brazil (1853-1889).svg. I'm just afraid I should've actually overwritten the 1870-1889 file with the new one and renamed it to 1853-1889...

Flag of PUK

Hey there Jarekt, excuse me for bothering you with global replace requests: File:Flag of PUK.png needs to be globally replaced with File:Flag of PUK.svg; Apparently it is one of the most used raster flags that did not have a svg version. Tl Valid SVG

Hi Jarekt,
There is a minor issue, related to default parameter url in {{Valid SVG}}. I've looked in the source code and I'm not sure that I would submit a correct Edit request… Do you think you could help in adjusting the setting?

Template:Colour blind accessible

Hi, it seems as you had some part in Template:Colour blind accessible which appears when I upload a file/map like this File:Map_for_Passante_ferroviario_di_Napoli.svg.
